We can review your indoor air quality and provide ventilation reviews to include a Covid-19 Ventilation Review to support planning for staff return to workplaces.

We have health and safety professionals who can assess and test the indoor air quality, and where ventilation rates are insufficient, our mechanical and electrical engineers can design and manage the system upgrades.

Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) can be a factor in Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) which can create a range of symptoms for building occupants, including:

  • eye, nose and throat irritation;
  • sensation of dry mucous membranes and skin;
  • hoarseness, wheezing, coughs and frequent respiratory infections;
  • skin rash and itching;
  • headaches and mental fatigue; and
  • nausea and dizziness.

There is a particularly high incidence in certain types of buildings, especially offices which are sealed and mechanically ventilated or air-conditioned.

Covid-19 Ventilation Review

Ensuring good air quality and ventilation is important during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our engineers can undertake a COVID -19 ventilation review prior to staff returning to workplaces to assess the adequacy of ventilation systems and to develop a strategy to sufficiently ventilate occupied spaces.
