As a planning, environmental, sustainability, engineering and safety consultancy we practice providing sustainable services. We attempt to minimise the environmental impact of our service delivery by various practical means, to include, but not limited to:
- using raw materials from sustainable sources.
- minimising paper use impact limiting travel where possible by using telephone and electronic means.
- encouraging low carbon travel by having selected our principal office locations to be close by to major transport hubs.
- minimising our travel impact.
We are pledged to deliver greenhouse emissions in-line with a 1.5oC climate change scenario for our building usage and travel through our Pledge to Net Zero.
During the refurbishment of our Glasgow headquarters, we placed a focus on energy efficiency which led to us being nominated for a low carbon building award and the Carbon Trust to produce a case study for others to learn from our knowledge and experience.
